Job Description
You’ll be loading and unloading cylinders, making sure to count and record the quantities and types so everything matches the shipping documents It’s important to check and placard the vehicle following Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations to keep everything safe and compliant You’ll follow all operating and safety procedures carefully while doing your tasks to protect yourself and others Completing shipping orders and the related paperwork will be part of your daily routine to keep things organized You’ll also handle trip reports, fuel tickets, and any other necessary reports to track your work accurately Before and after each trip, you’ll inspect the vehicle, noting any defects or issues and explaining them to your supervisor When you spot repairs or maintenance needs, you’ll take responsibility to make sure those get done with as little disruption as possible to the operation
