This position performs technical duties in the installation and maintenance of traffic signs, pavement markings, and roadway striping. Reviews daily work orders; prepares vehicles and equipment for daily operation. Installs, repairs, and maintains traffic control signs, roadway striping and pavement markings. Maintains sign and pavement marking inventory; and striping inventory; advises supervisor regarding reorders. Operates welder, cutting torch, forklift, thermoplastic heaters, and grinder; operates power driver to prepare the ground for traffic signs.
