The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of ICT application projects for SWARH and member Health Services, ensuring agreed solutions are implemented and expected benefits are realised. The role works closely with clinical, operational and Applications Directorate teams across SWARH Alliance Health Services to define and manage project scope, cost, quality, schedules, risks, and benefits, in alignment with approved project business cases and strategic priorities. The Project Manager fosters effective collaboration with vendors, implementation partners, and business stakeholders, and is responsible for managing external delivery partners to ensure ICT-enabled initiatives are delivered in line with agreed outcomes, timelines, budgets, and governance standards, and aligned to SWARH and member strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver multiple ICT application projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, risk/issue management, and successful closure in line with SWARH governance frameworks.
- Manage stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful delivery of project outcomes.
- Oversee project governance, reporting, and compliance, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and benefits realisation across concurrent initiatives.
- Support implementation activities including system testing, deployment, and business change to ensure successful adoption and transition into operational use.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience delivering multiple ICT application projects in complex environments, including managing concurrent priorities, interdependencies, and competing demands.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capability, with the ability to influence across all organisational levels and drive delivery outcomes.
- Solid understanding of ICT project delivery lifecycles, with strong governance, risk/issue management, and reporting skills, including executive-level communication.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into workable solutions and lead cross-functional teams without direct line authority.
