Job Description
What you’ll do:
Responsible for carrying out secondary operations and to produce parts to the required Quality, and Organisational Standards and controlling materials required for production whilst observing our "I choose zero" safety culture.
Undertake manual assembly, secondary operations, etc. for which training has been given.
Carry out measurement and testing of parts where required.
Operate Greasing, Rumbling, Granulating, Drying and other machinery for which training has been given.
Adherence to Standard Operating Policies and Procedures, contributing to achievement of departmental goals and targets (Production Efficiency, Inventory, Tidyness & Cleanliness, etc.).
Monitor output and record all information on the relevant documentation (using MTM where appropriate).
Adhere to order quantities, dates, etc. to meet delivery times and customer requirements
Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+,documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
Communicate problems affecting the role or responsibilities to Supervisor.
Skills:
Basic Injection Moulding knowledge / experience
Experience of operating machinery and performing manual assembly tasks
