Class Description:

This course covers lift truck (forklift) fundamentals to include OSHA as it relates to safe lift truck operation

It covers the following:

• Principles of Balance, Stability and Capacity
• Importance of a Thorough Pre-Operational Inspection of the Lift Truck
• Safe Load Handling Techniques
• Safe Handling of Fuels and Batteries Used in Lift Trucks

Students will receive a certificate from AIDT.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be eligible to work in the US.
