Job Description

The Geosolutions Technical Sales provides direct support across their domain in their respective GeoUnits, participating in the building and execution of sales strategies by identifying opportunities based on their technical expertise across all of D&I. This position establishes trusted advisor relationships with and understands our customer’s technical challenges, and shares gained client requirements and opportunities across the SLB sales organization and respective Business Line Basin Business Development Manager and Global Business Development Managers to maximize SLB value, as well as to provide input into the product development process. Geosolutions Technical Sales develops an in-depth knowledge of their assigned domain technology and associated solutions to enable development of customer value propositions in their respective GeoUnit.

Responsibilities

·        Participates in the creation and implementation of the marketing/sales plan for all aspects of the assigned portfolio.

·        Identify new business opportunities - new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, for the assigned service/product/business.

·        Promote portfolio value proposition and business offerings internally and externally.

·        Leads the opportunity management process.

·        Leads the development of proposal strategies/content/commercial models, both base and alternative cases.

·        Develops new business by actively participating in promoting new technology and services offerings.

·        Establishes lasting, professional relationships with customer contacts.

·        Understands customers local environment and identifies new technical applications suited to their needs.

·        Ensures that customer problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed.

·        Provides answers to technical questions from customers and produces validation elements.

·        Maintains integrity in all words and actions ensuring ethics, quality and Health Safety and Environment are evident and a key differentiator.

·        Provides technical support for sales activities such as bid proposal coordination and preparation, technical design options, insights, benchmark analysis.

·        Provides technical support for marketing activities such as presentations, demonstrations, and technology launches.

·        Provides input to marketing about requirements for new product definition.

·        Delivery of the yearly assigned revenue targets.

  • Formation: Geophysics, geology, or similar.
  •  English level. Advanced

Requirements:

Must have:

  • Understanding of the seismic market in Brazil, including main opportunities, risks, and market’s evolution over the last years
  • Seismic processing background, either directly by technically processing data or indirectly by being involved in seismic processing and imaging

Nice to have

  • Experience in a similar role in a seismic company
  • Understanding of the latest processing technologies (FWI, LSMi, 4D processing)
