Job Description
Primary Objective: We are looking for a Chemical Handler to join the Austin team!
Major Areas of Accountability:
Netsuite goods receipt, inventory and bin transfers, sales order picks, cycle counts
Unloading and receipt of chemical deliveries, storage of chemicals, review of certificate of analysis
Management of chemical inventory, FIFO
Manage expense inventory
Temperature recording and monitoring of fridges and freezers
Hazardous waste handling
Photo resist cannister changes
Stocking of fab chemicals 1-2 times per week, requires gowning
Work within defined technical processes and procedures
Initiate and drive continuous improvements
Uphold area upkeep and 5S principals
Ability to operate heavy machinery including forklift, pallet jack
Collaborate cross departmentally, escalate as required
Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks
Record keeping, reporting, as required
Shift: D Shift: 6 pm – 6 am, Wed-Fri alternating Saturdays. This role offers a 15% differential
Required Qualifications:
Education: 2 Year Technical/associate’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent military training / manufacturing work experience.
Experience:
3-5 years of manufacturing or operations experience
Skills: mechanical inclination, ability to troubleshoot system equipment, good communication, attentive to detail, collaborative.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs
At times bending and or crouching
A lot of walking, at a quick pace, throughout shift
Desired Qualifications:
Education: a relevant completed vocational / professional training of at least 3 years
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
