Client Manager - Group Benefits
Job Description
As a Group Benefits Client Manager, you will perform many diverse responsibilities which ultimately help us succeed in providing extraordinary customer service to our individual policy customers. The Group Benefits Client Manager will play a crucial role in the insurance industry, acting as a liaison between the Client and the Carrier.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with producers to bind and secure renewals and new business.
- Handle client requests for endorsements to policies, certificates of insurance, and high-level general questions.
- Regular interaction with clients both on the phone and via email.
- Handle all servicing aspects of an existing book of business as well as market new business.
- Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options / exclusions; making coverage recommendations; requesting policy changes and assisting with the needs of the client.
- 5+ years of experience in insurance account management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and effectively prioritizing risks to manage concurrent workflow.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with Microsoft suite products and aptitude for benefits technology
- State Life and Health License required
