Overview:
Leads technical architecture, integrations, and interface strategy for the Epic Beaker implementation. Ensures infrastructure and device readiness for stable operations. Owns the end-to-end testing strategy across unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing. Establishes test plans, manages defects, and drives issue resolution. Partners with clinical, IT, and vendor teams to ensure system quality, data integrity, and go-live readiness. Must be able to travel during required milestones and have prior Beaker install experience.
Key responsibilities may include:
Supporting Epic Beaker testing, build, optimization, and maintenance activities
Gathering requirements and translating operational needs into Epic solutions
Supporting integrated workflows across Beaker and related Epic applications
Assisting with testing, upgrades, enhancement requests, and issue resolution
Participating in governance, status reporting, and cross-functional coordination
Providing workflow and operational improvement recommendations
The resource would primarily work remotely to provide day-to-day support, with onsite presence expected for major events, integrated testing, go-lives, or key operational initiatives.
The ideal candidate would have:
Epic Beaker certification and application experience
Experience within large health systems or academic medical centers
Strong stakeholder communication and workflow analysis skills
Knowledge of integrated Epic clinical and operational workflows
Hourly range: $85--$110. The hourly range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
