Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Product Partnership
- Partner with Product Management to support roadmap decisions, investment prioritization, and scenario modeling.
- Provide financial insights on product lifecycle economics, including NPI, cost‑out, portfolio optimization, and end‑of‑life considerations.
- Translate financial trends into actionable recommendations for product strategy.
2. Portfolio & P/L Ownership
- Lead financial performance management across Imaging modalities, including revenue, cost, and margin.
- Deliver clear insights on performance vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Support long‑term planning and portfolio profitability analysis.
3. Forecasting, Budgeting & Closing
- Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles for product‑level financials.
- Coordinate monthly closing activities and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
- Prepare management review materials summarizing key assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
4. Cross‑Functional Influence & Leadership
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and influence decisions with data‑driven insights.
- Build strong partnerships with Product, Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Contribute to shaping financial policies, operating rhythms, and strategic processes within the Imaging finance organization.
5. Team Leadership & Accountability
- Establish strong operating mechanisms and promote analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability and proactive issue identification.
Required Qualifications:
- This role requires significant experience in the Finance & Commercial Finance Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Desired Characteristics:
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, Product/Commercial Finance, or similarly complex environments.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel required, Power BI preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and influence decisions.
- Experience supporting product organizations, supply chain, or cost accounting is a strong plus.
