What This Position is All About

Under the direction from the General Manager and the Customer Experience Manager, the Cashier Lead is responsible for facilitating a seamless checkout experience while overseeing the cashwrap processes in the store. The Cashier Lead will ensure customers are engaged through our connected service model, that the line moves quickly, that coverage is maintained through adherence to the approved meal and break schedule and that back up cashiers are called to manage the line as needed.

Who You Are:

• An outgoing person who enjoys engaging with customers and providing helpful service 

• Generates a variety of approaches to problem solving customer issues

• You understand the value of being proactive and solution-oriented

• You have a can-do attitude

You Also Have:

• Minimum of 2 years delivering customer experience in a retail environment 

As The Cashier Lead, You Will:

• Demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency in managing the customer line including greeting and directing customers to the appropriate register and calling for additional Associate/Manager back up as needed

• Follow all directives and corporate guidelines set forth including ensuring the area is neat, clean, set to standard with the necessary supplies and that all merchandise movement meets the fast to floor expectations

• As the Cashiering expert, help to guide, teach and train associates assigned to the area

• Assist in resolving customer concerns or calling in the appropriate level of Management support to resolve in the moment.
