Job Description
- Lead and supervise all mechanical construction and execution activities, including static and rotating systems.
- Manage installation of pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, boilers, and packaged units, ensuring quality and schedule compliance.
- Ensure adherence to ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international codes (API, ASME, ISO).
- Review, approve, and monitor method statements, lifting plans, risk assessments, and work procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, and commissioning teams for seamless project execution.
- Implement and enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems in live plant environments.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality targets, and timelines are met.
- Participate in mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, resolving technical issues and managing interfaces.
- Prepare progress reports, manpower plans, and resource allocation schedules to optimize project delivery.
Criteria:
- Proven experience in mechanical construction leadership.
- Strong knowledge of rotating and static system execution.
- Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage subcontractors efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical completion and commissioning.
- Expertise in ADNOC standards and international codes for mechanical works.
- Bachelor’s / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
- At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or section head role (Mechanical).
- Strong experience in installation of rotating and static equipment.
- Proven ADNOC or major GCC Oil & Gas project experience.
- In-depth knowledge of API, ASME, OEM installation requirements, and equipment alignment procedures.
- Strong understanding of HSE standards and PTW systems.
- Experience managing large mechanical teams and subcontractors.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast-track and high-pressure project environments.
