About the Role

As an EDA CAD Engineer Intern, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team working on EDA tools, design flows, and methodologies that power next-generation semiconductor development.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience, contribute ideas, and work with cutting-edge technologies in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop in-house algorithms, scripts, and tools to support design activities and customize EDA solutions
  • Create and maintain automation scripts using Python, UNIX Shell, and TCL to enhance EDA CAD workflows
  • Leverage AI/ML tools and techniques to improve productivity, optimize workflows, and support task execution
  • Execute assigned tasks efficiently while meeting defined timelines
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams to support project goals

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Digital design and verification
    • Physical layout concepts
    • VLSI design flow
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
