Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Performs lube service on equipment as assigned - provides lubrication/greasing as needed, checks fluid levels as needed • Performs minor repairs. Example: leaking hoses
• Cleans shop area as directed
• Assists other technicians as required
• Follows all safety rules and policies at all times
• Performs other duties as requested by the supervisor
• Ability to work overtime, and travel
Lube Technician Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One (1) year of similar work experience in a similar work environment
• Demonstrated basic mechanical knowledge covering oil changes
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Class A/B CDL
• Pushes/Pulls/Lifts/Carries up to 75 pounds without assistance
• Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
• Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold and wet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors associated with the shop/field
• Physical ability to perform the job functions throughout 10 hour workday
• This role may require overtime, overnight stays, and occasional weekend work.
• Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in a functional condition
