Join our Pencader team as a Plaque Operator and play an important role in creating critical, high-performance plaques used across a variety of industries and technologies.
In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate production equipment, support quality standards, and work with a collaborative team focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Operate press lines, ovens, and related production equipment
Inspect plaques and accurately record dimensions to meet quality plans and customer specifications
Help identify and troubleshoot quality issues to support root-cause problem solving
Remove scrap from presses and maintain a clean, organized work area
Report plaque counts and labor information accurately and on time
Support housekeeping, 5S, and other continuous improvement practices
Partner with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to help meet daily production needs
What You’ll Bring:
Strong math skills, including decimals, measurements to thousandths of an inch, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Good time management and the ability to stay organized in a production environment

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
Ability to read and understand operating procedures
Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to doing quality work
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and production specifications
Previous hands-on experience in a skilled manufacturing environment
Experience operating or maintaining powdered metal and resin presses
Knowledge of SAP and MES workflows
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift resin bags and drums weighing up to 25 kg/55 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods during production work
Ability to complete data entry and other office-related tasks, which may require sitting for periods of time
Additional Information:
Other duties may be assigned by the Pencader Shapes Area Manager and/or Line Supervisor based on business and production needs
Willingness to work overtime when needed
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization due to required Export Compliance.
