We are seeking a Medication Packaging Pharmacy Manager to lead our Long-Term Care medication packaging operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily preparation and delivery of medication packaging solutions, including bubble packs, cycle fills, and adherence packaging programs that support patients across Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate is an experienced pharmacy leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring every medication package is prepared accurately, safely, and on time.

What You'll Do

Lead Medication Packaging Operations

• Oversee daily medication packaging workflows, including bubble packs, cycle fills, and patient-specific packaging solutions.

• Manage department productivity and ensure packaging schedules are completed accurately and on time.

• Coordinate workflow priorities to meet the needs of long-term care facilities and patients.

• Monitor department performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Lead and Develop Team Members

• Supervise, coach, and support medication packaging technicians and department staff.

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused work environment.

• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the department.

Ensure Quality and Compliance

• Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and patient safety.

• Ensure packaging operations comply with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Investigate and resolve packaging discrepancies, operational concerns, and workflow challenges.

• Maintain required documentation, records, and departmental reporting.

Support Exceptional Patient Care

• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, facility staff, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Support long-term care partners by providing dependable, accurate, and timely medication packaging services.

• Help advance Hayat Pharmacy's mission of improving access to healthcare within the communities we serve.

Qualifications

Required

• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration or ability to obtain registration.

• Previous pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care, institutional, or high-volume pharmacy environment.

• Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.

Preferred

• Long-Term Care pharmacy experience.

• Experience with medication adherence packaging, bubble packs, and cycle fill processes.

• Experience with pharmacy automation systems and packaging equipment.

• Experience leading operational or process improvement initiatives.
