About Geaux Fight

Join Geaux Fight, a highly specialized outpatient rehabilitation practice dedicated to oncology care, lymphedema management, pelvic health, and helping patients do more than survive—thrive.

As one of the only outpatient oncology-focused rehabilitation clinics in the region, Geaux Fight offers a rare opportunity to build advanced specialty skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals navigating cancer treatment, recovery, and survivorship.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated therapist to help grow our unique team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide individualized rehabilitation services for patients experiencing physical challenges related to cancer treatment, surgery, radiation, and survivorship.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on a thorough evaluation and evidence-based care.
  • Participate in specialty services including advanced manual therapy techniques, dry needling, auriculotherapy, lymphedema management, and pelvic floor rehabilitation (training available when interested).
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care, as well as converse with colleagues about sound treatment strategies in this unique population.
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships through compassionate, patient-centered communication.
  • Contribute to program development as Geaux Fight expands specialty services into Baton Rouge.
  • Engage in ongoing continuing education and specialty skill development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current Louisiana licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Interest in oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema, pelvic health, or specialty outpatient care.
  • Specialty certifications are welcomed but not required; willingness to pursue advanced training is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.
