
Bistro Attendant
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve menu items, beverages, and specialty drinks according to standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process guest transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bistro area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and Marriott brand standards
- Assist guests with menu questions and provide recommendations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Ensure a positive dining experience by anticipating and responding to guest needs
- Support other hotel departments as needed to enhance guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food handler certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
