👩💻 About The Role:
As Electrical Power Engineer at Flower, you will be part of our EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) team. The function is responsible for end-to-end delivery of our BESS projects, from detailed engineering and design through to construction and commissioning and commercial operations.
Reporting to the Head of EPC, you will be responsible for performing sizing calculations, creating technical specifications, and producing conceptual and detailed electrical design documents and drawings, playing a hands-on role in bringing our energy infrastructure to life across Sweden and Europe.
What You’ll Do:
Perform power system studies using DigSILENT PowerFactory for both conceptual and detailed engineering phases, including cable sizing, voltage drop and short circuit calculations, switchgear design, lighting design, earthing/grounding calculations, and cable routing layouts
Design cable routing layouts, grounding layouts, cable schedules and termination drawings using AutoCAD
Determine asset interconnection to existing LV, MV, and HV electrical facilities
Review and evaluate contractor and equipment bids, submittals and RFIs
Support construction and commissioning on site in Sweden or other European countries, ensuring designs are executed accurately
Support the Asset Development team in securing Grid Connection Agreements with DSOs/TSOs and complying with relevant Grid Codes and requirements
Potential travel to China and other European countries
Who You Are:
A degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience
3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the energy industry
Experience taking energy projects from development through to COD
Proven expertise in load forecasting, power system optimization and load flow simulation for medium and high voltage systems
Solid working knowledge of DigSILENT PowerFactory and AutoCAD
Relevant certifications such as electrical installation certification are a plus
Fluency in English required; German, French or Swedish is a plus

Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm, just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
