As a Neuro Surgery Scheduling Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely and well-organized care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling Procedures: Organize and schedule all surgical cases across Loyola Medicine and its affiliated operating rooms, and procedural areas, coordination of Pre Admission Testing and follow up visits.
- Insurance & Patient Communication: Handle all communications with our financial clearance center, patients, and their guardians to confirm coverage and provide necessary information.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, APP's, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to make sure patients have the right appointments and are fully informed.
- Administrative Support: Perform essential administrative tasks to keep the department running smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma, plus relevant training gained through work experience or additional education.
- Preferred: Completion of 2–3 years of college, ideally with an administrative or technical focus.
Experience:
- Required: At least one (1) year of experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
- Preferred: At least three (3) or more years of scheduling experience is highly desirable, especially in a fast-paced or clinical environment.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $19.10- $24.44 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
