Job Description

As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the finance process.

Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Accountable for invoicing and payroll including billing hours and expenses
  • Process invoice and follow up as appropriate with clients and suppliers
  • Reconciliation of bank statements and ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct
  • Assist in creating regular financial reports to support understanding of business performance
  • Respond to finance enquiries providing support to stakeholders, third parties and clients as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity & Equal Opportunities Policy across employment and service delivery

Desirable:

  • AAT or ACCA qualification is desirable
  • Proven experience of working in a finance environment
  • Knowledge of finance and accounts including Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Accounts Payable
  • Experience of an accounting package (i.e. Xero)
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be a team player or stand alone
