Could you be the full-time Accountant in Neihu District, Taipei City, Taiwan we’re looking for?

 

The role is key to make sure in-time cash payment and compliance in connection with vendors and internal share-service. In this role, you are not working for payment process and you're expected to lead the process to insure smooth process, communication and Share Service with well provided information to proceed transaction. Besides, to make sure the local tax compliance in the main task as well.

 

Your future role

  • Validate accounting documents and monitor all accounting operations.
  • Apply accounting techniques and standard Alstom practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
  • VAT declaration, WHT application & payment, stamp duty.
  • Local GUI issuance and AR posting.
  • Ensure a good coordination of information transmission in order to maintain an adequate accounts management.
  • Overhead related accruals management and posting.
  • Coordination of inter-company invoices/recharges (ICS).
  • Coordination/validation of bank reconciliation, payment processing (suppliers and expenses)
  • Petty cash reconciliation.
  • Insurance allocations.

 

All about you

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Accounting/Finance department.
  • Experience with Finance module of ERP system (SAP) or other ERP.
  • Nice to have experience with Finance Shared Service team.
  • Fluent in English. Chinese (Mandarin) as mandatory.
  • Organisation skills and good management of priorities.
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (tax authorities, vendor).
  • Time management and reporting skills.
  • Autonomous and sense of priorities.
  • Ethical behaviour.
  • Committed and dedicated to deliver.
  • Team spirit.
