- Manages the workflow of incoming and outgoing customer units, communicating with the Service team, scheduling drivers, and following up with the customer to ensure clear, accurate expectations are set and achieved.
- Serves as primary point of contact for customer service calls, addressing customer needs in a timely, friendly manner and obtaining all specific vehicle information/concerns and customer information required for proper repairs.
- Performs timely check in of customer units upon arrival and opens work orders for needed repairs.
- Works directly with the service department management team to ensure efficient and consistent utilization of available resources & systems while ensuring KPI’s and company objectives are achieved, and all department SOP’s are followed.
- Works with the Service, Warranty, and Parts teams to ensure consistent, efficient processing of workflow, warranty validation, recall/campaign validation, and parts coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Service Writer experience, preferably in a dealership environment; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Computer proficiency in web-based programs and applications, Microsoft Office Suite applications and related departmental software, to include researching and looking up information.
- Valid driver's license for the state of residence must be maintained throughout employment.
Pay Range: $27.54 - $32.94 per hour
