Job Description

Summary Statement:

The Stock Representative must have the ability to move, handle, and transport received merchandise, materials, or supplies to the proper locations utilizing pallet jacks, hand carts or other means of transportation.  The Stock Representative must also perform general stocking duties including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves racks and refrigerators.  The Stock Representative will receive, unpack, and put away or transfer the daily deliveries of merchandise.

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure the store is replenished.
  • Receive, unpack, and put away or transfer the daily deliveries of merchandise.  Use invoice to ensure the order quantity matches the delivered quantity.
  • Assist with controlling stock levels by completing store to store transfers, as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including backroom and shelves) and dispose of trash.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Ability to handle and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Effectively communicate in English.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent
  • At least six months of experience as a Retail Stocker in a similar or related environment

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Position required licenses

  • How is work typically performed? Typical retail store environment
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality
  • Prolonged sitting/standing
  • Bending and reaching
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
