Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Specialist who demonstrates strong commercial acumen, proactive customer engagement, and disciplined account ownership while supporting North American customers. In this role, you will own and manage a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and driving revenue growth through relationship development, opportunity identification, and independent execution of the full sales cycle. Success will be measured by consistent achievement of sales targets, expansion of existing accounts, accurate forecasting, effective negotiation of commercial terms, and long-term customer loyalty enabled through responsive, cross-functional collaboration.
Position Responsibilities:
· Own and manage a defined portfolio of customer accounts, with full responsibility for revenue growth, retention, and account profitability.
· Develop and execute account-level sales strategies, manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification through close, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships with buyers, engineers, and decision-makers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
· Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new application opportunities within existing accounts, proactively expanding share of wallet.
· Respond to customer RFQs, negotiate pricing and commercial terms within established guidelines, and secure customer agreements to meet revenue and margin objectives.
· Coordinate internally to ensure accurate order entry, contract compliance, and timely delivery, resolving issues that may impact customer satisfaction or revenue.
· Support Sales and Operations teams with monthly sales forecasts in coordination with CSR.
· Gather and analyze customer feedback, competitive activity, and market trends, sharing insights to inform product development, pricing, and sales strategy.
· Develop forecasts for new and existing products, define market actions, and recommend strategies for growth.
· Proactively manage customer concerns, lead issue resolution, and drive corrective actions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Provide first-line customer support on products, certificates, and compliance issues (e.g., RoHS, REACH, sustainability).
· Work closely with operations, engineering, finance, and customer service to support account needs and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
· Maintain accurate customer records, activity logs, and forecasts within the CRM system; provide regular updates on account performance and sales metrics.
· Collaborate internally with key decision-makers to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree required; minimum of two years of experience in inside sales or related commercial roles, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment in the HVAC or appliance industry.
· Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
· Strong customer focus with the ability to identify customer needs, act from a customer-centric perspective, and balance those needs with company objectives.
· Proactive, self-motivated approach with a demonstrated ability to identify new sales opportunities and take initiative to drive growth.
