$18.08 - $22.60

Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.

 

Role Overview

The Receiving Warehouser is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure the accurate handling, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished goods. This role operates material handling equipment, maintains inventory accuracy, processes shipping and receiving transactions, and helps ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently. The position contributes to reliable plant operations by following established procedures and maintaining compliance with safety standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Receive, inspect, unload, store, and transfer raw materials while ensuring accurate documentation, sampling procedures, and inventory records.
  • Process shipping and receiving transactions, prepare required documentation, coordinate outbound freight pickups, and meet customer labeling requirements.
  • Operate forklifts, scales, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to support warehouse and production activities.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by following First-In, First-Out (FIFO) practices and completing ERP system transactions.
  • Follow safety procedures, participate in safety training, identify workplace hazards, and promptly report safety or environmental incidents.

Required Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, scales, industrial trucks, and other equipment used in shipping and receiving operations.
  • Computer proficiency, including experience using ERP systems such as SAP to complete warehouse transactions.
  • Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain a strong work ethic, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other industrial material handling equipment.
