Job Type: Full Time
The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for processing all sterile and non-sterile materials, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. He/she is capable of testing autoclaves for efficiency and maintaining records. He/she assists in the recall process as needed.
- Performs Decontamination Procedure According to Policy
- Performs Sterilization Procedure According to departmental Policy
- Maintains Patient Equipment
Education:
- HS diploma, graduated from surgical tech or central sterile tech program
Experience:
- Prefer experience in CSS, not required
Certifications:
- Certified CSS preferred, not required
