Coordinate and manage regionally and cross-divisionally the Procurement Category Logistics Service Provider (LSP) consisting of Transportation, Warehousing, and 4PL Services
Analyze the US Supply Market and identify suitable providers, cost reduction potentials, and concept savings ideas, in close collaboration with your colleagues from the related functional stakeholder departments
Develop and manage the regional Supply Base for logistics services with continuous improvement of the portfolio
Create a competitive Supplier portfolio to fulfill business needs in terms of cost competitiveness, technology, quality, supply, environmental and ethical capabilities
Autonomously plan and execute price and contract negotiations, using innovative and state-of-the-art Procurement tools and processes
Deploy KPI Reports and Procurement Analytics for controlling of the Procurement contribution on a Total Cost Level
Contribution to Global Logistics strategy roadmap and sustainability targets
Shape the regional strategies for sourcing of Logistics & Packaging within the US/MX
Establishment of Carrier service levels and rate agreements
Act as primary liaison between the carriers and Webasto SCM plant teams

This is what you bring to us

Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years of experience in Transportation
Proven experience of successful negotiations in large volume and complex logistics agreements as well as knowledgeable in financials and cost structures
In dept knowledge of the US (or MX) transportation market Carrier service providers
Background in Carrier Management and Development
Knowledge in sourcing warehousing services and in the packaging industry is a bonus, Excellent presentation and data analytics skills, Profound relationship management skills
Spanish language knowledge would be a bonus (for US), For MX fluent English is a must
