BBST - BrazilWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Development Assurance & Requirements), to join our 777X team as a Systems Engineer supporting the Development Assurance & Requirements team, in Brazil.
Key responsibilities include:
Systems Integration focal for Development Assurance and Requirements supporting the entire Systems IPT
Provide leadership across all 777X (-9 and -8F) Systems teams to meet the Airplane Level DAR entrance criteria
Based on technical knowledge and experience in requirements development, validation, verification, and development assurance processes and tools, ensure each Systems Team follows the internal procedures and standards, and utilizes DOORS and Program metrics for disciplined execution
Provide technical leadership, train, coach, mentor, and ensure all applicable engineers are ready for FAA Development Assurance Reviews
Consolidate and streamline formal training, guidance, and technical planning to drive consistency across the Systems IPTs and ensure first pass quality
Work collaboratively with the System Integration Team organization to ensure written guidance and deadlines are clear for Systems teams
Partner with Aircraft Level Integration team ( ALIT) to revise process documentation and guidance periodically to continuously capture lessons learned
Support the technical planning for development assurance across all Systems teams, including developing metrics to help track progress across the Systems IPT, identifying and communicating risks, and developing mitigation plans to meet program needs;
To understand and conduct process by using Boeing guidelines of Development Assurance
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor.
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
In depth experience in any airplane systems development
In depth experience in Development Assurance (ARP 4754)
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Ability to systematically analyze, understand, organize, and communicate complex technical concepts/problems across multiple disciplines and in efficient manner
Ability to integrate and understand various process and data connections across the program
In depth experience in design engineering / Engineering Design processes
In depth experience in developing and managing metrics and Design Assurance or Process Assurance
Desired experience with SAE ARP 4761
