What awaits you:

·        Responsible for validation and development testing of automotive products.

·        Planning, set up, and performing mechanical & electrical testing of products using complex data acquisition and control systems, environmental chambers, vibration test systems and other appropriate test equipment to evaluate, interpret, validate, and report test results to customers

·        Define counter measures to drive failure analysis process to root cause test failures

·        Design and specify testing methodologies including accelerated life testing methods where applicable, test equipment and test systems

·        Define test procedures and specifications for mechatronic systems, following the Kautex generic validation strategy while coordinating with national and international development partners in the projects

·        Provide functional expertise to the Technical Project Leader in designing the system architecture, checking, and evaluating product test specifications during the quotation phase

·        Calculate and quote test and validation costs for both internal and external labs

·        Coordinate internal and external testing regarding timing and status

 

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as  Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Engineering

·        Basic capabilities in test equipment such as multimeters, scopes, wave generators, signal analyzers, programmable power supplies and data acquisition systems with various sensors

·        Basic programming or coding s kills (ie. LabView, MATLAB, Simulink, C, C++, Python)

·        Strong  capabilities in MS Office especially Excel

·        Ability to lead projects and work in a team environment with basic project management skills (i.e. timing, planning, budgeting, etc…)

·       Good problem solving skills, self-motivated, self-learning, hands-on, comfortable with ambiguity and drive for excellance
