Job Description
Key job responsibilities
Why This Role Matters
You'll join a small Mexico-based team providing Americas coverage for a platform that manages substantial marketing spend globally. Your work directly enables:
- Business teams to focus on content and marketing strategy instead of administrative tasks
- Finance leadership to make data-driven decisions with real-time visibility
- Accounting to close books faster with unprecedented accuracy
- Senior leadership to trust financial data for strategic planning
- You'll be the person who understands both the finance process and the technology that powers it ensuring purchase orders flow correctly, budgets reconcile, and the systems behind it work.
What You'll Do
Support Finance Operations with Technical Expertise. You'll manage purchase order workflows, budget tracking, vendor setup, and spend reconciliation, but you'll do it with a technical lens. You understand how the systems behind these processes connect, where they break, and how to fix or improve them. You'll be the bridge between "what finance needs" and "how the platform delivers it."
A day in the life
Day-to-day, this means:
- Managing purchase orders with accuracy and speed
- Tracking budgets and providing real-time spend visibility to business teams
- Reconciling financial data across systems and flagging discrepancies
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and accounting standards
- Supporting month-end close activities and accrual processes
- Being the go-to person when something in the workflow isn't working right
You'll experiment with and implement AI tools to classify transactions, flag anomalies, draft communications, and assist with reconciliation.
You'll stay current on emerging AI capabilities and identify where they can reduce toil in your day-to-day work.
You'll conduct monthly business reviews with marketing and industry teams across the Americas and partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Global Procurement to resolve complex issues.
