Your Impact as General Manager Business Development
As a key member of the Business Development team, you will:
๐นLead Strategic Growth & Market Development

- Define and drive country growth strategy across Retail, Automotive, and Service Logistics sectors.
- Develop sector-specific growth plans aligned with country, regional, and global priorities.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, including e-commerce, omnichannel fulfillment, EV supply chains, and aftermarket logistics.
๐น Drive New Customer Acquisition

- Lead the identification, pursuit, and conversion of strategic customer opportunities.
- Build and manage a robust, high-value sales pipeline.
- Win large-scale, complex, and multi-country logistics opportunities.
๐น Deliver Commercial Excellence

- Lead end-to-end deal strategy and customer engagement activities.
- Develop differentiated supply chain solutions that create long-term customer value.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and margin optimization.
๐น Influence & Partner

- Engage senior stakeholders across country, regional, and global teams.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Solutions Design, Finance, Transport, IT, and HR teams to ensure successful solution development and implementation.
- Represent DHL in industry forums, customer engagements, and strategic business discussions.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a commercially driven leader with strong strategic and business development capabilities:

10โ15+ years of experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3PL environments.
โ
Proven track record in Business Development, Strategic Sales, or Commercial Leadership roles.
โ
Strong understanding of Retail, E-commerce, Automotive, OEM, CKD/CBU, EV, or Aftermarket Logistics sectors.
โ
Demonstrated success in winning complex logistics and supply chain solutions.
โ
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
โ
Experience engaging at executive and senior leadership levels.
โ
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
โ
Fluent in English.
