Job Description
Are you passionate about helping customers and turning inquiries into solutions? Ryan Herco Flow Solutions is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service while helping drive sales and support our field sales team.
Essential Functions
- Deliver exceptional customer service by handling incoming calls, resolving issues, entering orders, and following up promptly.
- Turn product inquiries into sales opportunities—suggest accessories or replacement items to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Prepare bids and quotations and follow up to ensure customer needs are met.
- Document all customer interactions and sales activities in our ACS system.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales to maintain excellent account management for both new and existing customers.
- Support the implementation of sales and marketing plans.
- Stay up-to-date on Ryan Herco Flow Solutions’ products and participate in training sessions.
- Maintain and update customer databases with accurate information.
Experience, Education and Skills
- 2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with empathy and the ability to guide customers toward solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills—able to build relationships with a wide range of people.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts.
- Persuasive, amiable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher.
