The impact you’ll make

Production Control Manager at LAM is responsible for optimizing manufacturing workflows, coordinating material planning, and managing production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment. Oversees the daily activities of the production scheduling and material control functions. This individual ensures that facility capacity, labor, and materials align precisely with customer demand to minimize bottlenecks and eliminate waste. Improves performance within organization by fostering cutting edge approaches.

What you’ll do

• Champions people development, growing talent, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development

• Leads and aligns departmental activities through leaders/stakeholders, ensuring coordinated execution and accountability for business results

• Drives production control across the factory network, synchronizing demand, material flow, and capacity to deliver predictable build plans and customer commitments

• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles such as unforeseen business risks

• Builds and scales solutions that optimize business processes and enable critical enterprise strategies

• Navigates complex operational challenges by integrating data, diverse factors, and current business trends to enable informed decisions and outcomes

• Enables predictable results by applying established processes and operational governance in solution development

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor degree or equivalent is required

• 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of people leadership

• Familiarity with workflow management systems (JIT, Inventory Optimization, Six Sigma)

• Strong understanding in production scheduling/planning & execution processes and core supply chain concepts.

• Proficient in ERP/MRP Systems (SAP), MS Office tools I.e., Excel, PowerPoint, PBI.

• Analytical skills (Capacity Analysis & Forecasting) to interpret and utilize data for decision support.

• Strong communication skills in English & German

• Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group G. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
