Job Description
Responsible for coordinating surgical cases according to established surgery scheduling protocols. This position works collaboratively with the department's clinical staff and OR leadership to ensure maximum utilization of department OR service block. Serves as first point of contact for physician offices and other customers regarding posting surgical procedures.
Minimum RequirementsHigh School or Equivalent (GED) is required.
1 to 3 years Customer Service Experience is required.
Required
Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills required
Basic computer skills
Preferred
Past experience with scheduling in EPIC OpTime, Cadence, or other EHR systems within a hospital or medical office environment
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Monday - Thursday 8 hours, Friday 4 hours.
