POSITION AND MISSION

Continuous update of software and hardware to secure verification and validation in HIL test beds and test vehicles for the latest software baselines
Perform sanity checks to verify the integrity and functionality of software updates
Fault tracing, diagnosis and troubleshooting of software and platform issues
Technical documentation according to customer standards
Escalate issues arising from software and vehicle platforms to the right stakeholders
Use automated flows for software download - Define required vehicle data and logs
Collect vehicle data and capture test logs
Perform initial root cause analysis on vehicle or component level

The Ideal Profile

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a related field
Strong interest in testing and validation
Working knowledge of SWDL and diagnostics on embedded systems
Experience in troubleshooting on HIL systems such as dSPACE, Vector or National Instruments
Experience in fault tracing, diagnosis and troubleshooting on end-to-end vehicle systems - Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols, especially CAN
Fluency in English
