Job Description
- As the Senior Product Owner for Onboarding, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, vision, and execution of our customer onboarding product. You will lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize a frictionless, secure, and delightful onboarding journey for customers—from initial sign-up to full account activation. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance customer needs with business goals in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the onboarding process. Ensure alignment with the overall business goals, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
Roadmap Ownership: Develop and maintain a clear, actionable product roadmap for onboarding features, including timeline management, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
User-Centric Design: Champion a customer-centric approach, focusing on designing seamless, intuitive onboarding experiences that are optimized for user engagement and retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, engineering teams, compliance officers, and data analysts to build and deliver high-quality onboarding features and enhancements.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate product priorities, timelines, and progress to senior stakeholders, including executives and department heads. Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related initiatives.
Agile Product Delivery: Lead and participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and work closely with development teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of features.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze product performance through customer feedback, metrics, and A/B testing. Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding process, reduce friction, and improve conversion rates.
Regulatory & Security Compliance: Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure onboarding processes comply with relevant financial regulations, data privacy standards, and security requirements.
Customer Insights & Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics, customer research, and testing to inform decision-making and identify areas for optimization or new features.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior product owners, supporting their professional growth and ensuring best practices are followed across product teams.
Undergrad degree in business, tech or related field with minimum 5 years experience
Experience in in banking / financial industry with focus on customer acquisition, strategy, design, implementation etc. is preferred
