About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated At-Risk Youth Intervention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide community-based support to at-risk youth and their families, working closely with child welfare partners to help prevent out-of-home placement and promote family stability.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass all required background clearances
- Ability to pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
What You’ll Do
- Work with families to address challenges, improve communication, and strengthen relationships
- Meet regularly with youth and families in home, school, and community settings
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans addressing barriers such as school concerns, legal involvement, family conflict, and substance use
- Collaborate with child welfare agencies and community partners
- Transport clients using your personal vehicle as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet program requirements
