Overview:


 

Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.


 

Job Description Summary:


 

Provides day-to-day supervision and operational support to housing advocates serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Ensures high-quality service delivery, supports staff in addressing complex client needs, and helps coordinate housing placements and stabilization services.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates the activities and operations of the housing program to ensure effective and efficient service, collaborating with and reporting to leadership as needed.
  • Provides daily supervision and coaching to assigned team members, supporting staff development and training and assisting with case consultations.
  • Monitors staff and assesses practice patterns to ensure high level of expertise and positive housing outcomes.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements, quality assurance standards, and contract standards.
  • Assists in the management of relationships with key funders and stakeholders.
  • Implements quality assurance initiatives to improve operational efficiency and clinical accuracy of the housing services workflow.
  • Assists with maintaining program fiscal viability and capacity to align with grant compliance.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, required. 
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field, preferred.  

Licensure Requirement:

Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) in the State of Ohio, preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to motivate and lead staff. 
  • Ability to represent the agency to stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Three years of experience in housing services, homelessness programs, or social services, required.
  • Three years of experience related to grant management and compliance practices, required.
  • One year of supervisory or team leadership experience, preferred.
