Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a board‑eligible / board‑certified, fellowship‑trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our practice. This position offers the opportunity to build a busy medical and surgical retina practice within Mayo Clinic’s collaborative, mission‑driven academic environment. Additional niche expertise is desirable.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional surgical proficiency, experience in multidisciplinary teamwork, a strong commitment to teaching, and active participation in clinical research. Candidates should have an interest in academic medicine and contributing to education and scholarship at a national academic medical center.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship‑trained in vitreoretinal surgery
- MD or DO (or equivalent)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Arizona
