About our group:
The Equipment Engineering group provides technical solutions and maintenance support to ensure production machinery operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. The team plays a key role in supporting machine performance, product qualification, yield, quality, and reliability. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the group applies expertise across mechanical, electrical, electronic, mechatronic, computer, automation, and manufacturing technologies to support daily operations and continuous improvement.
About the role - you will:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead equipment maintenance activities, support machine performance, and drive continuous improvement across production operations.
- Lead a team of technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and service production machines and equipment.
- Identify root causes of equipment downtime or unscheduled repairs, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare and maintain machine checklists to guide technicians in daily maintenance and operational tasks.
- Carry out maintenance, servicing, and engineering tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- Lead the team in proposing Kaizen and productivity improvement ideas to enhance machine performance, work processes, workplace safety, and the working environment.
- Support diagnosis, repair, replacement, testing, and adjustment of machine parts using circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries using tools such as PowerPoint and Excel when required.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work with peers and cross-functional teams on equipment improvement projects as needed.

Your experience includes:
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in one or more technical areas such as automation, electronics, electrical controls, mechanical systems, or mechatronics.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply circuit diagrams and technical documentation for machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience in data collection, data analysis, and basic reporting to support problem-solving and equipment improvement activities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience leading, guiding, or coordinating a team of technicians in a manufacturing or equipment maintenance environment.
