As our Marketing Communications Manager, you will lead the planning, execution and optimisation of growth‑driven marketing activities across Malaysia. This is a hands‑on role combining direct campaign execution with portfolio ownership and stakeholder alignment. As part of the APAC Marketing team, you will collaborate closely with Global and Regional Marketing stakeholders to shape, prioritise and localise Global and Regional programmes, while also leading the development of local growth campaigns from strategy through to execution. 

You will work closely with the General Manager, Sales and Commercial teams to translate business priorities into high‑impact marketing initiatives. You will be accountable for marketing prioritisation, execution quality, performance tracking and continuous optimisation. This role reports to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager APAC.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Plan, lead and execute multi‑channel growth marketing initiatives across Malaysia including defining and delivering local growth campaigns from A‑Z and ensuring effective localisation and execution of Global and Regional campaigns.
  • Define campaign strategy, messaging and channel mix, creating local growth initiatives while overseeing the adaptation and localisation of Global and Regional campaigns to local market needs.
  • Lead, plan and execute key offline events, including tradeshows, seminars and workshops, setting objectives, messaging and success measures, and reviewing post‑event performance and ROI.
  • Create, review and localise marketing content such as campaign frameworks, customer and sales presentations, and key messaging assets, ensuring relevance, consistency and quality across markets.
  • Monitor and optimise performance across the full marketing and sales funnel, from demand generation and lead quality through conversion, bookings and revenue, working closely with Sales and Lead Qualification teams to improve opportunity‑to‑booking conversion.
  • Manage marketing spend tracking and prioritisation, providing input and recommendations to General Manager and Commercial Leaders on budget allocation and campaign effectiveness.
  • Own the marketing function for the country, acting as the primary marketing representative in local leadership forums and cross‑functional discussions.
  • Participate in country leadership growth meetings and leadership roundtables, contributing marketing insight to commercial priorities, growth initiatives and business planning.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of strong experience in B2B growth and demand generation marketing, combining strategic planning with hands‑on execution across digital and offline channels.
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline contribution, revenue impact and funnel optimisation through close collaboration with Sales teams.
  • Experience working across marketing and sales technology ecosystems, including Marketo, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, analytics and work‑management tools.
  • Confident user of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity, content quality and speed of execution.
  • Demonstrated mentoring experience, with the ability to prioritise, delegate and develop execution capability in others.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating in matrixed organisations with shared accountability.
  • Business‑fluent English required; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required across Malaysia for tradeshows, events and business needs.
