Hours: Monday – Friday Between the hours of 7am- 7pm
Pay: $16-$18

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeper Lead to oversee daily housekeeping operations and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout our facility.
Position Summary
The Housekeeper Lead is responsible for supervising and supporting the housekeeping team, ensuring resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces meet cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards. This role serves as a working lead, performing housekeeping duties while coordinating daily staff assignments and monitoring quality outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.
Assign and prioritize cleaning schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Inspect resident rooms, common areas, offices, and public spaces for cleanliness and compliance with facility standards.
Train and mentor new housekeeping team members on proper cleaning procedures, safety practices, and infection prevention protocols.
Ensure proper use, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Monitor housekeeping supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
Respond promptly to housekeeping-related requests and concerns from residents, families, and staff.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed.
Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and other departments to support resident care and satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all facility policies, OSHA guidelines, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care settings.
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, infection control practices, and safety procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
Ability to push carts and operate housekeeping equipment safely.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
