Job Description

ABOUT THE COMPANY At RS, we are redefining how the world builds reliable energy infrastructure. We design and manufacture advanced composite utility poles that are lighter, stronger, and longer-lasting than traditional materials such as wood, steel, and concrete. Our poles are engineered for superior performance in the most demanding environments, providing utilities with a durable, low-maintenance, and sustainable solution for a smarter, more resilient grid.

With operations in North America and customers across 30+ countries, RS is a leader in grid resilience, driven by our values of Safety, Respect, Resilience, and Teamwork.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal who's ready to step up, make an impact, and help shape the legal foundation of a fast-growing, mission-driven company. This is not a routine support role. It's a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in creating structure and clarity in a dynamic business setting. You will work directly with the SVP, Legal and senior leaders across the business, supporting corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and Board matters. If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to a company that's redefining resilient infrastructure, this is your chance to make a real impact and grow alongside an industry leader.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support to the SVP, Legal and business leaders.
  • Draft, review, and organize contracts, NDAs, and other commercial agreements with precision and attention to detail; evaluate and implement contract management systems and usage of AI in contract review.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis across areas such as contracts, employment, IP, litigation, and corporate governance.
  • Assist in development and implementation of the Corporate Compliance Program and associated documents
  • Support compliance initiatives, conduct policy reviews, assist with audits, and help implement training programs to strengthen internal awareness.
  • Liaise with external counsel and support litigation processes including discovery coordination, documentation, and case tracking.
  • Assist in development and implementation of information governance and data privacy programs and initiatives
  • Respond to limited internal legal inquiries (e.g., entity information, signing authority) and provide timely guidance to business partners.
  • Help improve departmental processes through better templates, filing systems, and documentation practices.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 15 + years of experience as a Paralegal in a corporate or law firm environment.
  • Strong background in contracts, data privacy, information governance, and compliance.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting senior executives or a Board of Directors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and e-signature tools (e.g., DocuSign).
  • Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business, or related field required; Paralegal Certification strongly preferred.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Retirement savings plans with company contributions.
  • Employer-paid life and short-term disability insurance.
  • Optional additional coverage (life, long-term disability).
  • Generous paid time off and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Opportunities for growth and development within a global, forward-thinking company.

Why Join Us? At RS, you'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team where your contributions matter. You'll work closely with leadership, gain exposure to complex and meaningful legal work, and help support a company that's transforming critical infrastructure across North America.

If you're organized, proactive, and take pride in doing things right, we'd love to meet you.
