Key Tasks:

  • Handle goods arrivals according to SOP’s and guidelines

  • Offload trucks or coordinate with staff on site

  • Open arrived goods, inspect and register any deviations on quality or missing items

  • Register goods in ERP for SDOT (Supplier Deliver On Time measurement) for each Purchase Order

  • Mark the goods according to defined internal rules (express handling, quarantine/claim etc)

  • Deliver the goods to the Warehouse Team for the next phase in receiving and put to stock

  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Team with regular materials management tasks

  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Team with Certificate handling on material if applicable

  • Collaborate with Packing on goods identification and item markings for outbound shipments

  • Sorting and mixup prevention with Packing for clarity and risk mitigations

  • Marking of outbound goods with documents from Shipping when applicable

  • Loading of outbound goods on trucks or coordinate with staff on site

Competencies:

Able to coordinate/being flexible due to current priorities

Forklift Driving skills

Large crate handling skills preferrable

Have high integrity            

Qualifications & experience:

General warehousing skills as base

Experience from Alfa Laval production/manufacturing/distribution is a plus

Office computer skills

Good knowledge of SOPs and processes

Logistics Manager (LM)

Support functions

Customers, internal and external (if applicable)

Suppliers, internal and external (if applicable)

Authority level / Power of procuration:

According to delegation from LM

To call for support functions

To register deviations in ALPS and communicate to support functions

To (without delay) voice risk observations to Safety Officer and Managers with registration in ALPS

Responsible for the goods handling area and improvement of Inbound/Outbound physical area(s)
