Job Description
Member Service Representatives are responsible for conducting interaction tasks to promote member satisfaction, sales, and retention. These include phone and in-person interactions with members and YMCA staff, administrative activities, program enrollment, record keeping, and payment processing.
Job Responsibilities:
Create a warm and welcoming environment for members and visitors.
Process payments and maintain balanced cash drawer and receipting according to procedures.
Inform supervisor and co-workers of any dilemmas, concerns, and updates.
Data entry and record maintenance for new members, renewals, program participants and guests.
Maintenance of all member resource information at front desk.
Keep front desk and lobby area neat, clean and professional.
Qualifications:
At least 16 years of age.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and engaging personality.
Cash management experience.
Organized and able to follow directions.
Ability to perform multiple tasks in diverse situations successfully.
Computer and keyboarding experience.
Superior communication skills and phone etiquette.
