Kitchen Attendant - (Princess Cays - Bahamas)

The role of the Kitchen Attendant is to perform and oversee the preparation, cleaning, and maintenance duties required in the kitchen. The Kitchen Technician will provide assistance with all tasks necessary to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operates in an efficient manner.

Job Requirements

• Basic education
• CPR and First Aid Training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
• Physically fit and has the ability to stand for extended periods
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assists with front of house maintenance of property on ship days
• Maintains all kitchen interior and exterior including eating pavilions and walkways’
• Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
• Deep cleans all grills, hoods, tiles and walkway areas throughout the property
• Assist with the receiving and issuance of supplies
• Assists with property sanitation including the removal, deep cleaning, baiting of all 
• receptacles onsite
• Ensures that safe practices are adhered to at all times including the use of Personal 
• Protective Equipment (PPE) such as wearing masks, coveralls and safety glasses as 
• needed
• Assists with ongoing IPM treatments back of house as well as the perimeters of food 
• service areas
• Assist the Food and Beverage Teams from the ships with logistics and transport around 
• the site on a ship day
• Any other responsibilities assigned by Management
