Your tasks and responsibilities
As working student within combat software design perimeter you will:
● Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge demonstration and technology projects
● Develop and maintain drivers for embedded systems
● Work with real-time software in safety-critical environments
● Explore Ethernet and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technologies for use in avionics
● Document your technical contributions and learnings
● Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
● Support integration of software components in real-world demonstrations
Desired skills and qualifications
● Passion for real-time operating systems and real-time software development
● Curiosity about virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers)
● Interest in avionics standards such as ARINC 653 and DO-178C
● Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field
● Eagerness to learn development processes and industry best practices
● Openness to CI/CD Methodologies and modern development workflows
● Enjoy collaborating in multifunctional teams
● Improvement mind-set and desire to grow technically
● Team player with good communication skills
● English Language skills (professional level), second language (French / German) would be a plus
● Bonus: Any coursework or projects involving drivers, Ethernet, or TSN
