Join our OSHC team at Helping Hands Tamborine Mountain and help create exciting, engaging, and unforgettable experiences for primary school children. In our OSHC programs, kids are busy building rockets, scoring goals, creating masterpieces, and making new friends. As an OSHC Educator you get the opportunity to be involved.
Pick up shifts across the services open hours:
- Morning Shift: 6:00am – 9:00am Monday - Friday (Rise then Shine Program)
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 6:00pm Monday - Friday (Stay and Play Program)
- Extra Hours available during school holidays!

About Tamborine Mountain Helping Hands
Tamborine Mountain Helping Hands is a small, community-focused service licensed for 60 children. Operating out of the school hall, this is a pack up and pack down service with a close-knit and supportive team culture. This service is perfect for educators who enjoy building strong relationships with children and families while working within a calm and welcoming environment.
While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:
- A genuine love for working with children.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
- Must have valid Australian work rights.
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- A relevant qualification in children’s services, or be in the process of completing one (per ACECQA guidelines).
