Emergency Access Representative - Patient Access - SUPPLEMENTAL VARYING SHIFTS

POSITION SUMMARY Under direction of department leadership, interviews incoming Emergency Department patient or family member to obtain registration and reimbursement information. Updates all ED, Outpatient, and Inpatient registrations that occur in the department. Assists with patient wayfinding and supports Nursing staff both in the patient rooms and the lobby. Maintains patient confidentiality and maintains professional appearance to insure patient and public confidence.
